Tapas is the name of a wide variety of appetizers, or snacks, in Spanish cuisine. They may be cold (such as mixed olives and cheese) or warm (such as chopitos, which are battered, fried baby squid). In select bars in Spain, as well as some parts of North America and the United Kingdom, tapas has evolved into an entire, and sometimes sophisticated, cuisine. In Spain, patrons of tapas can order many different tapas and combine them to make a full meal. In some Central American countries such snacks are known as bocas.

Europa opened in 1995 and was the second restaurant from Richmond Restaurant Group.

Yes. We actually validate parking after 5pm until 11pm. There is a parking garage directly across the street. It will give you a ticket upon entering and we will give you a ticket upon exiting the restaurant. Insert the ticket you received when you entered and then insert the ticket you received from us.

Yes. We also have certain items that can be prepared gluten free. Please download a copy of our Gluten Free menu or call (804) 643-0911 for more information.

Absolutely not. As long as certain parameters are met we can do events for lunch. Please give us a call to discuss.

Yes. We have the ability to conduct presentations, slide shows, etc via 2 flat screen tv's or projector screens and our computer system. Please call ahead to discuss. You must provide files ahead of time in order for us to make sure they are compatible and working properly.

We consider our a restaurant to be family friendly. We do not have a child's menu but have many options for children of all ages.

Yes. The larger the better. Our restaurant is set up in a way that large groups are welcomed. The tapas style that we provide works well in a family style setting. For larger groups reservations are preferred.

Yes. Our first level is all wheelchair accessible.

Yes. Please call the restaurant and we will work with you to plan your event.

The kitchen closes at 10pm Sunday through Wednesday and 11pm Thursday - Saturday.
